Registration

From the age of 13 months, parents have a legal entitlement to a place in a daycare center. Places are allocated by the respective providers or daycare centers (KiTa). Registration is possible several months before the planned admission. Use the Jena daycare portal for this.

If a place is available for your child, the childminder or the KiTa management will conclude a childcare contract with you. The childcare contract includes topics such as acclimatization, care times, opening and closing times, meal provision, insurance, termination and additional agreements, e.g. on data protection or special features for excursions.

For school children, the need for after-school care is specified directly at the school.
