Further training and internship

Even if you have already completed your vocational training, you should always seek further qualifications if possible. Further training offers you the opportunity to update and deepen your knowledge, to specialize or to take a new career direction.

This can also be done through an internship. Many companies and businesses offer internships officially, but are also happy to receive unsolicited applications. You will also often find offers for further training directly in your company. Talk to your line manager about this.

You can also attend further training courses at various educational institutions at any time.

Stays for the purpose of further training or internships

Stays for the purpose of further training are generally permitted if they follow on from training completed abroad. Your school or company-based training must have lasted at least 2 years.

Three years of current professional experience without a degree can also be examined and recognized. Stays for the purpose of further training are also possible on the basis of a specialist or university degree.

Internships completed as part of a course of study or made possible by a scholarship or exchange program do not need to be checked by the employment agency. This applies to pupils and students as well as specialists and managers. The duration of these stays must not exceed 12 months.

Praktikum
