Counseling services for students

The universities and student services organizations provide you with a comprehensive range of advisory services.

In addition to questions about the content of your studies, such as choice of subject, organization, coaching or professional development, the main focus is on social aspects.

You will receive help on the following topics, among others:

• Financing your studies and ways to save money
• internships
• Gainful employment
• Social benefits (maintenance, grants, housing benefit, child benefit)
• Benefits for pregnant women and students with children (additional needs according to SGB II, parental allowance, child benefit, maintenance)
• Handicaps and chronic illnesses
• Foreign students

All universities offer students a contact point for psychological counseling, even during examination periods. All counseling services are always free of charge and anonymous if desired.
