After your studies
Have you successfully completed your studies? Congratulations!
There are numerous other opportunities open to you. Perhaps you have already made contact with companies during your studies as an intern or working student and they are now happy to hire you.
If possible, apply throughout Germany and gain practical experience when you start your career. Internships are also suitable for this. Because even if your first job is not a permanent position, it is an opportunity to start your career.
If you have not yet found a job, you should register as a jobseeker with the Federal Employment Agency as soon as possible, ideally 3 months before the end of your studies. The employment agency can support you in your search for a job and sometimes help with application costs.
Perhaps you have realized during your studies that your heart beats for another subject area or you would like to gain further qualifications in general?
You are free to complete a second degree. A higher qualification in your subject, e.g. as a Master's or doctoral student, will further your professional career.
The time after your studies is also ideal for a stay abroad. Gain experience through work and travel. The stay will enrich your wealth of experience and increase your chances on the German job market.
