Welcome to study in Jena, one of the oldest and most innovative university cities in Germany.
Around a quarter of the city's inhabitants are students, over 3000 of whom come from abroad. The Friedrich Schiller University and the Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences together offer more than 200 degree courses. Some of these can even be attended in combination at both universities.
